The Census Bureau’s Nonresponse Followup Operation (NRFU) monitors completion of census questionnaires, and has historically been the largest field operation of the decennial census. I conducted a performance analysis for the NRFU to determine the effectiveness of training for field operations — including observing training and field performance and providing recommendations for training improvements.
